Six months later, the New York University along with the Pan American Broadcasting Corporation sent a search team in looking for the filmmakers. They could never be prepared for what they would find. Directed by Ruggero Deodato in 1980, this may be the most gruesome film ever, but it's message about violence and it's above-average production values help to lift it above standard exploitation.
